Sometimes, inspiration comes from the strangest places. The initial ideas for our new designs came after a visit to the wonderful Unicorn children's theatre in London to see a production of the Velveteen Rabbit.
A good excuse to have some fun making three velveteen rabbits for my nephews and neice out of scraps from the studio. It made me think about how as a child I used to be fascinated by the thought of my toys coming to life as I slept or was at school and all the adventures they must have got up to.
I began to assemble colours and play with stripes, but couldn't quite get what I was looking for. There started a process of getting three colours specilally dyed for us and the excitement of finally getting the finished yarns ready to start sampling.
The final collection took months to resolve and contains playful references and details that we hope you will enjoy.
